watching the olympics, seeing phelps win his 8 gold medals, breaking 7 world records and 1 olympic record, watching the singapore table tennis team stomping its way to its first medal after 48 years, i really wonder how does it feels like to wear the nation's flag on your shirt. standing on the podium, singing your country's national anthem with honour and pride. thats something i wanna achieve. so what if people say u cant do it, so what if singapore lost their gold medal to china. they achieved their goal, of getting a silver. people, stop complaining that they are all foreign imports. think bout it, why do u think we have china people representing singapore. we ourselves as a singaporean cant even make it to the national team. don't blame them for stealing your position, you yourself just dont work hard enough to make it there. wake up and stop complaining about foreigners. phelps achieved his dream in getting 8 gold medals. some might say he's lucky, but all of us agreed he is the best of all. sitting infront of the television, i could already feel the success for him. imagine himself, standing on the podium, getting recgonition. one of the greatest olympian of all time. 1 year down the road, i'm gonna work real hard. i'll do whatever it takes, just to take me there..
